This is a general application for current and future Electrician Helper openings with Amteck service departments. Ideal candidates will live within reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the following locations:
Primary Role:
Electrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other
leadership on the construction project. Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level,
and will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck’s accredited apprenticeship program to work and study
toward achieving Journeyman classification and licensure. Electrician helpers will also have the opportunity to
learn and grown in other divisions of Amteck, like low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm along with
other skill sets within the electrical trade.
Requirements:
In 1977 Amteck was founded in Central Kentucky with the belief that growth only comes by listening and responding to both clients and employees. Four decades later, Amteck has grown from a small electrical contracting firm to a national leader in the design/build support electrical contracting industry. Amteck specializes in facility growth expansion initiatives of companies that operate in the manufacturing, industrial, process, food, and beverage, hospitality, healthcare, distribution facilities, and commercial and institutional sectors. - Columbia, SC

- Chandler, AZ
Primary Role:
Electrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other
leadership on the construction project. Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level,
and will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck’s accredited apprenticeship program to work and study

Requirements:
- 2+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
- Experience with running/bending Rigid and EMT conduit
- OSHA 10 preferred but not required
- Experience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician
