Job Description
Mills Supply Company is a local, family owned, fast-growing rebar and construction materials supplier seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the construction industry, builds strong relationships, and enjoys being out in the field meeting customers. ?? Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, project managers, and purchasing teams • Identify new business opportunities within assigned territory • Conduct on-site visits to job sites and customer locations • Provide product knowledge, pricing, and technical support on rebar and related construction materials • Prepare quotes, follow up on bids, and close sales • Collaborate with our inside sales and operations team to ensure accurate order fulfillment • Maintaining customer’s bid schedule and job files • Represent the company with professionalism and strong industry expertise ?? Requirements: • Experience in construction materials sales preferred (rebar or steel industry a major plus) • Proven track record in outside sales or business development • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Ability to read construction plans (preferred but not required) • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally within assigned territory • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven ??
