Builders Exchange has teamed up with the EKU department of Applied Engineering & Technology to offer a four-class construction management certification.

Course Description:
A study of the understanding how to read and interpret by plan view and elevation drawings.
Student Learning Outcomes:
To create a learning environment whereby a student becomes able to:

  1. Understand and interpret information depicted on drawings and specifications for a construction project of moderate complexity using a designated case study project known as the BTC.
  2. Identify work items from drawings and specifications according to a standard bid breakdown.
  3. Be able to visualize drawing information in 5 of the major CSI Divisions (3,5,9,15,16).
Location:
Classes will be held at the Builders Exchange Center for Education and Training Excellence, 2300 Meadow Drive, Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40218

This course and all other courses run from 1-5pm.

Course 2 - October 21st - Plan Reading
Course 3 - October 27th - Bidding and Estimating
Course 4 - October 28th - Scheduling

Fees/Admission:
Members with the Builders Exchange of Kentucky will pay $500 per course or $1,700 for all 4 courses.

Non-Members will pay $600 per course or $2,000 for all 4 courses.
