Position Title: Assistant Superintendent
Reports to: Project Manager
Job Summary:
Weber Construction is actively seeking an Assistant Superintendent whose role is to collaborate with the Superintendent to supervise the day-to-day operations of a given project or projects. This includes working within the project’s budgets of given task. Scheduling subcontractors, ordering materials, documenting work progress, inspection of the work to ensure it meets or exceeds the drawing requirements and Weber Group’s standards. Responsible for job site safety. This is a salary exempt position.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Review and understand the construction plans.
- Physical hands-on working Superintendent.
- Scheduling
- Order and shipping of materials
- Inspect work and worksites to ensure all work is being completed by plans and specifications.
- Workplace safety
- Punch out work.
- Maintain equipment.
- Assign work to employees and monitor the progress of the work.
Qualifications & Educational Requirements:
- • High school diploma or GED
• Minimum computer skills
• Supervision experience
• Hands on experience and knowledge in the construction industry.
• Valid driver license and in good standings
• Positive work ethics
• Able to travel out of town.
