Job Description

Churchill McGee LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in light commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage full project life cycle from initiation to deployment, handling major and minor initiatives.
  • Provide on-site leadership, motivating team members to meet project goals and milestones.
  • Set and manage project scope, expectations, and deliverables with team and stakeholders.
  • Execute Owner contract, work plans, addenda, and specifications.
  • Schedule projects, budget time, and meet deadlines.
  • Complete monthly billing for each project.
  • Review and approve submittals.
  • Handle buy-out process and procure materials.
  • Perform fieldwork as needed.
  • Report on success criteria, metrics, and deployment activities.
  • Work creatively in problem-solving environments, promoting teamwork and innovation.
  • Contribute to developing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships.
  • Prepare project estimates and detailed plans for all phases.
  • Procure necessary resources to meet project objectives.
  • Manage daily activities, resources, and chair project management meetings.
  • Monitor staff performance and conduct performance reviews.
  • Provide status reports on milestones, risks, and issues to leadership.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Track and control project outcomes, resolving conflicts and dependencies.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project and program teams.
  • Ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in commercial construction and project management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, safety standards and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
 
Education and Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or construction management 
  • 5 years of construction supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate competencies in achieving results, communication, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
