Job Description

Churchill McGee LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in light commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues and maintain quality control.
  • Communicate with clients, architects and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with inspection authorities and conduct regular reviews of the construction site to ensure quality control and identify any potential issues.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, safety standards and regulations.
  • Firm understanding of commercial construction industry and processes.

 

Education and Other Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
